Traditional medicines basically consist of natural food or other edible

plant materials or "herbs" have been found to be "medicinal".
Speaking about safety, these botanical foods/medicines could be considered
to have gone through most extensive "clinical trials" on millions or

period of time (although they are just "anecdotal evidences").
Despite our comprehensive "anecdotal" knowledge on the health-benefitting

our body.

"life" itself, and striving to produce new drugs that are more specific
in action and scientifically accountable, there remains a huge gap between

Needless to say, nature and our life started long before the advent of
science, and science needs time to unravel the great complexity of life.
The current understanding of life phenomena by science is rather fragmentary
at the moment. It will take at least a number of decades, if not centuries,

healthcare becomes a truly predictive science rather than another guess
work relying on clinical trials on a few human subjects. Until the time
